So this past weekend I met up with Jody and Cedric in Brockville. We hung out with Shannon Cody and her sister Hannah.
We had a great time and then went to Ottawa to visit our sucky friend Mason. We stayed at Taggart and Trina’s and then went to Mason’s house (ps Mason has bacne) for a little party and then out to Pub 101.
All in all it was a great weekend. There was a funny moment in Brockville when we went to visit a rando friend of Shannon’s. We ended up at a guy’s condo.. long story short, Jody fell asleep on his floor.
It was good to get away. Thanks everyone!!

ps. It’s not Jody’s birthday.. it’s not till March but because it’s such a big deal it actually lasts the whole year. When you see her, wish her a happy birthday.
I know that you’re thinking.. Christmas is less than 11 months away..
But this is the one the just past! I had a great time being home.. it was hard to leave.
I spent New Years in Peterborough with Scott, Natalie and Mika. We had a great time playing some games and having some casual drinks.
The highlight of the evening definitely was when we were taking pictures in front of the Christmas tree. We set our cameras up on timers and placed them on the table. Scott cleared the table to make room for the cameras.. and when we were waiting for the flash to go off, I noticed something on fire on the table! I yelled “your thing! Your thing is on fire!!!” and we ran to the table. Turns out that Scott placed a quilt that Natalie was working on over a candle.. he grabbed it and got the little fire out.. haha Oh and just as we were running over, a camera flashed.. It wasn’t mine.. so I’ll have to hunt down the picture, but it’s pretty funny and Mika is in the background with her hand on her face in shock.. bah haha.

ps.. there’s pictures from Christmas.. my dad and bro Phill were out chasing a dog from across the street that got loose. The streets were covered in ice.. I had to take pictures because I thought they were going to fall.. haha
I wish I could do a decent update.. cause it’s been forever but my camera has been missing since I got back from Christmas holidays!
If you see it anywhere.. it’s black with a grey string, it’s a casio.. it will have some awesome pictures on it.. one of a fire in Scott’s living/dining room… yup pretty amazing.

Talk about visits! First Bridget came over, then Scott, Natalie and Mika!
We had a short, but excellent weekend. It got even better once Mika got my name under control. It’s hard for some people who call me Glover all the time to understand that my first name is Chris.. and some people call me Chris.
Scenario 1:
“The ‘C’ must be for Montreal Canadiens..”
“Yeah either that or for Chris”
“Chris?”
Scenario 2:
“WHAT did she call you?!”
“Chris.. you know.. my name”
Scenario 3:
“Oh you mean Glover.. at first when you said Chris, I thought Kris Harrop…”
We played several games of Cranium. A newer version.. with some cool new challenges. Natalie had a hard time guessing Ant Farm… “Ant House”, “Space Ship”, “AUNT BETTY!!!!”.. nope.. “Ant Farm”.
There’s this neat new challenge where one person has to be a puppeteer and the other has to be the puppet. The puppet has to guess what the puppeteer is making them do… “What the heck was I just doing?”… “car wash”. When Scott and I got square dancing right, we were a little over zealous and were jumping up and down in my living room double high fiving and cheering… only to realize that people walking through the quad could see us through my bay window.. it got embarrassing or “really cool” very fast.
Sadly, I have to announce that I had the worst Cranium record that weekend… Scott is the champion for being on a winning team for all rounds…
BUT! I KICKED ASS IN LASER TAG.. I’m not sure if I should be proud of that or not… (hehe.. nerdy face).
Holidays start soon and I should be on the road to Ontario in exactly 1 week.
